Learn Salsa in a couple of weeks only. In our Laval dance school you will learn latin dances in a fun and relaxed environment. With or without partner, we offer Salsa, Merengue, Cha-Cha-Cha and bachata classes. Come and visit our spacious Laval dance studios. Reserve a spot today!

Terms and conditions

1. Missed classes are not refundable or replaceable.
2. No audio or videotaping is allowed during class.
3. Half Price for retakes is valid for beginner and Inter 1 classes.
4. Please turn off your cell phone before class.
5. For insurance reasons no children under 14 are allowed in the studio (it's break time for you!!!).
6. In the event of an in term cancellation, a refund for the remaining classes is possible. The cancellation must be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to a class.
7. For security reasons to attend the salsa mommy and baby class, the baby must be at least 6 weeks old.
8. A private class must be paid 48h in advance. Cancellation of a private class is possible up to 24h in advance. Any cancellation of the private class within the 24h period will result in fees totalling 50% of the paid amount. A failure to cancel the class within a 2 hours window will result in fees equalling full amount paid.
9. I understand that the participation in Salsa Classes at Baila Productions involves possible health risks and injuries. I therefore accept and assume the full responsibility of these risks and will never hold Baila Productions accountable for any kind of injuries or health related issues that could rise from taking Latin Dance Classes.

Classes are given in English and French.

Beginner

• The Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cha-Cha-Cha Rhythms;
• Basic, Side, Classic and On the spot salsa steps;
• Left turn and right turn patterns;

• Simple partner styling;

Intermediate 1 and 2 (must have taken at least 10 hours of salsa classes)

• Intermediate Salsa partner styling and patterns;
• Intermediate Bachata and Cha Cha Cha patterns;
• Shines (footwork);
• Lift and dips initiation;
• Salsa Styling for men and women;
• How to involve all your body dancing salsa.

Advanced (feels comfortable with the content of the preceding levels)

• Complex partner styling;
• Advanced Shines;
• Multiple spins;
• Lifts and Dips;
• Body isolations;
• Focus on style.

Ladystyling (Must have taken more than 10 hours of Salsa Lessons, no partner needed)

• Arm mouvements and placement, Posture;
• Isolations (shoulders, hips, arms, body waves);
• Practile classy styling with partener;
• Involve all your body to express your salsa;
• Body isolations.

Salsa Mommy Baby (No latin dance experience needed, no partner needed)

• A class for the new mothers! With your child comfortably seated in a baby carrier (a must-have for the class) you will learn Salsa, Merengue, Cha-Cha-Cha and Bachata.
• The class is low impact and is perfect for all fitness levels.
• Even if you have to left feet you'll be able to dance after your first class!
• Babies in the class are generally between 6 weeks to 12 months.
